Meet Valerie and Frankie. Valerie reached out to me earlier this month after finding me on Instagram (woot woot!) and wanted some beautiful couple portraits with their fur baby Carlos, since he wasn't able to be a part of their backyard wedding. I was happy to be a part of celebrating their love!
Carlos is about the cutest little thing you'll ever see... I mean who doesn't love a yorkie in a bow tie?!? Frankie is in the Navy and wanted a chance to wear his dress blues for the portraits since he didn't wear them in their wedding. This classy couple reminds me of something right out of the 1940s... love them!
They picked the most beautiful evening you an imagine... the weather and sunset was perfect and also chose my favorite place to photograph... Fort Monroe!
These two are the best puppy parents, they are so loving and gentle and Carlos is just a regular part of the family. He did a great job with the portraits and was happy to explore all these new places!
At one point in the evening Valerie turned to me and asked if we could do a "trash the dress" session, since we were right by the water and their wedding was over and done. I had never had the chance to do this before but I was all about it!
When it came time to get in the water these two were so fun, they were ALL IN... literally! They had a blast playing and splashing and of course Frankie pretending to drown in the distance. They cracked me up!
Thank you so much Valerie and Frankie for letting me a part of this amazing and special moment in your lives!
